Mariah was being helped into the hospital by Paul. She was so thankful for this guy to help her to the hospital

Paul walked in with her to the check in station and told the lady the situation and two nurses came to help Mariah into a wheelchair and pushed her into one of the rooms. The other nurse walked swiftly with Paul in search to get a uniform for him. She thought he was the father of the baby.

One of the nurses helped Mariah into her gown and into the bed. Soon after, she walked out of the room to page the doctor that Mariah had arrived in labor.
Mariah was left in the room a lone for a couple minutes. Which made her get a bit more nervious than she already was. She couldn't wait for all this to be over. Although she was excited for the baby to come. She wondered what Paul was up to since she was rushed passed him on her way to the room.
[Do you think Paul and her should have a relationship?]

Paul was trying to explain that he wasn't the father but the nurses just thought he was nervous. After he was forced to change he walked into the room "um, hi, how are you feeling?" he asked

"mmmm like I'm going to push a football out my vajayjay", she joked a little since there wasn't a contraction going on. She looked at him seeing that he was in scrubs now "Did you change?"

Paul laughed a little when he heard her joke. Wow, most women would be freaking out like crazy right now he thought. He then heard her question and looked down "oh uh yeah, apparently they think im the nervous father that was afraid to go through with it so they pretty much forced me to change" he chuckled

Mariah laughed a little, "Well if you don't want to be in here you dont want to be in here you don't have to, you have been a great hero just bringing me here", she said. Then a contraction came on and she tried to do the breating that she learned

"Well I didn't really have much else planned for my day so I'm in no rush to go anywhere" he said as he stepped closer to her as she started breathing "want me to get the doctor or nurse or whoever?" he asked

"yeah, sure" he said with a nod and walked closer to her and slid his hand into hers. It was weird, even though Paul just met Mariah, he was definitely going out of his way for her, but he didn't mind, he was just relieved he was at the right place at the right time.

"No prob...lem" he said with a laugh as she squeezed a little harder. Paul couldn't really believe he was about to witness someone giving birth, he had seem some on tv when he was really bored but nothing would compare to being in the same room. "Just keep breathing.." he said softly

The contraction went away for then and she losened up on the grip "Sorry" she laughed a little "I didn't know I could squeeze so hard" she took a deep breath. "I bet you never thought you would be here today..." She smirked and kept breathing

"Not really, last time I checked I haven't gotten anyone pregnant, so the mothers-to-be section would had to have been my last guess of where I would end up today" he said with a laugh "but hey I'm not complaining, there's a first time for everything, right?" he said with a small grin
