 The crowd in the auditorium grew as people filed in to witness the 2010 Valley Battle of the Bands. Where bands bloomed or fail. And only one will be named the Best Band in the Valley. Of course.. New Story couldn't participate.. Lame.. hah Local bands like Catalyst, Electric Whirlwind, and Proceed With Caution were getting ready back stage. Numerous instruments being brought in. Although only one drum set was allowed to be used for the competition. Something about it being too much for drum set after drum set to be lugged onstage and off. The band members of Catalyst were talking loudly backstage. Tommy, Richard, Evan, and Bret. Rich as the drums. Bret as the lead singer. Tommy on guitar and back up vocals. Evan as bass. Proceed With Caution just came through the back door. Confident as ever. Jaime, Cameron, Cory, and Zacky. Cory lead vocals, Jaime guitar back up vocals, Cameron drums, and Zacky bass. [btw I'm playing available characters for the sake of the band. I.E Rich and Zacky. If anyone wants to play an available charrie just for BOB please do. And Idk if Kari and Courtney will be online for this. I just want to get this out of the way.] |

Tommy was leaning against an unused speaker as he strummed his guitar to make sure it was tuned. Something that alot of the guitarists there were doing.
Cory and Jaime were hanging out with their band in a corner. Cory thinking about the song in his head. And Jaime thinking about.. monkeys? What the hell?
Jaime wasn't too worried about whether or not they were going to lose. He knew his band was awesome. And that was that. He didn't care if he got 1st place or not. As long as Catalyst, their rival band, didn't haha.

Bret was standing over by Tommy looking pretty relaxed not stressing too much. he Knew they were good and could win.
Cameron stood besides Cory thinking about everything with Ariel and him. He almost couldn't focus on what he was doin for battle of the bands. But he knew their band was great

Jaime took his lucky pic out of his pocket. "Damn didn't think there was going to be a big turnout this year," he exclaimed.

Last year New Story won it, and that was just the beginning of their road to fame. Tommy sighed. He really wanted to beat out the competition. Including Proceed with caution. They've hated eachother for years.

The first of the other bands finally went on stage to perform their stage. The guys and their bands just leaned back and listened to their competition.
