Mike gave a small laugh, "Well you know Roxy, my devil of a puppy. She decided to get at my favorite pair of chucks and tear them to shreds." he said, pointing to show her his now tattered shoes, "So I decided to just tough it out for an hour and get myself a new pair." he said, shrugging.

Mike smiled, he loved talking about his puppy, who he basically treated like one would treat their child, "Ah, she's a little devil, but a fucking cute little devil." he said. He took a couple steps closer to her, so that they could talk more easily.

Mike scratched his head, he didn't know if it was such a good idea to get together this soon after breaking up, but he did miss her, and he really did want to catch up, "Uhm, yea sure. That'd be great," he said with a smile. "Let me just pay for these shoes." He said, holding up a pair he had decided on, plain black hi-tops with neon green stitching.

Felecia first kind of regretted asking to go to lunch but she was also happy. She wasn't going to throw herself at him, she just wanted to get inside his head. Felecia waited for him to pay for the shoes.

Mike headed over to the cash register and paid for his shoes. Once he had, he turned back to Felicia, "Ready to eat?" he asked her with a smile.

Mike smiled. He couldn't help but feel a little bit excited to spend some time with Felicia again, he really did love her, and maybe, he thought, they could become friends again. And see where things went from there.
They reached the food court, "So, what's your poison?" he asked, gesturing to all of the fast food places compiled in the food court.
