"No problem..Mrs. cullen" she said with a slight nod better than being around an awkward situation she thought as she placed the plate in front of Edward and heard something come out of his mouth "hm? oh, your welcome" she said as she went to take her seat

This was how dinner always was at the Cullens. Conversation would last for a split second and they'd all end up eating dinner in silence. His family had horrible communication skills.

Edward didn't wait too long to start piling things on his plate. The dinner roll was hardly enough to hold him over.
