River unlocked the door to his apartment and opened it....
"Welcome to my humble abode," River said, smiling and gesturing for April to enter.

River laughed, following her inside and closing the door behind him. "Yeah, well not having you to clean up after me made me realize how much of a slob I am. So I'm trying to practice at being more of a 'Mr. Clean' type." he turned on the light and walked down the hall to his bedroom. As soon as he opened the door a huge dog bounded up and knocked him down. River laughed at the big dog now licking his face wildly "Jesus, Oreo get off! We have company."

"Oreo!" April squeeled happy. "Come mere and give me a kiss you cutie," she smiled taking a few steps towards the hallway.

Oreo whipped her head in the direction of April and bounded towards her once she realized who April was. Oreo jumped up onto April and attacked her face with licks. River stood and brushed himself off, laughing at the sight of Oreo and April together again.

River walked over to April and Orea, rubbing his hand over Oreo's soft coat. "Yeah, she's my girl." He ran a hand through his hair, "So, can I get you anything to drink or eat?" he asked, making his way to his small kitchen.

"A water would be great," April replied as she continued to pet Oreo. After a minute or two, she headed over to the living room and took a seat on the couch.

River grabbed a glass and filled it with ice and water, then grabbed a beer for himself. He walked into the living room and joined April on the couch. He handed the water to April, "Here ya go. So, what do you want to do?" He asked, taking a drink of his beer. Oreo walked over and lay down in between their feet on the floor.

River laughed, "Um, duh! You know I would never get rid of my board games. What's your poison? I've got Sorry, Yatzee, Mouse Trap, or the infamous Candy Land." he smiled at her, taking another swig of his beer.

River grinned "Exellent choice my dear." he hopped out of his seat on the couch and went to the hall closet, pulling Sorry from the top shelf. He walked back over to the couch and sat down, setting the game on the coffee table in front of him. "Here, i'll set it up," he said, opening the box and pulling out the game board.

"I'm red," April said as he started to set up the game. She crossed her legs indian style as she leaned over the coffee table to grab her water. April took a sip as she watched him set up.

River smiled, "Okay but only if I can be blue." he said, remembering that they were always the same colors. He finished setting up, looking back up at April, "Alright, start it up!" he said, nodding at her to take her turn as he picked up his beer and downed the rest of it.
